Viclink have produced an 84 page timetable booklet titled ‘South Gippsland and Bass Coast bus and V/Line coach services’ (various operators) dated 9 November 2009.

As far as I can work out, this booklet would replace the separate & undated entries shown in this list for Wonthaggi Town, Leongatha to Inverloch, Wonthaggi to Cape Paterson, Wonthaggi to Corinella, Wonthaggi to Cowes & Wonthaggi to Inverloch.

And finally Countrylink have produced a DL sized slip dated 6 December 2009 for the improved Sydney to Canberra service, which replaces pages 19 & 20 in the Southern timetable booklet dated 11 October.

Luckily my week in Norfolk Island appears to have been a quiet one timetables wise.

Sydney Buses, Ferries and Trains from Adrian Dessanti..

Some updated Sydney Ferries timetables to report:

* Darling Harbour Ferry Timetable, Reprinted November 2009.

* Manly Ferry Timetable, 28 October 2009. (Previously Reported)

(Note that both timetables include "Ferry Timetable" in the title.)

There was no sign of an updated Parramatta River timetable due 23/11 when I visited Circular Quay this afternoon. (LS - It is now available on the Sydney Ferries website as is a pocket timetable for the Parramatta Express service which is a subset of the full Parramatta River Ferry Timetable

Sydney Private Buses. Re the two Hillsbus timetables referred to in my last advice before going away

610, 610X, 619

613, 614, 614X, 615, 615X, 616, 616X, 617X, 618

I have been advised that they will be website only .

Central Coast Region Review.

Brochures are now available for the review of region 6 (Busways) and Region 7 (Red Bus). With replies requested by 14/12/2009.

New South Wales Timetables – From the Busways website.

Revised school and route timetables for Kempsey commence Monday 16th November.

And received in the mail today were:-

Sydney Buses, Ferries and Trains – Western Region Guide dated 11October 2009 which does not have the formatting errors which are in the website version. So now we do know that it exists.

Sydney Private Buses. Veolia Transport Suthertland Shire, Bankstown and Hurstville Transport Guide. This now covers both Regions 10 and 11 and unlike the previous 2006 version it also covers the routes from Bankstown to the Revesby and East Hills areas. The 4xx, 947 and 958 are now also included although route 455 is still subject to possible change as part of the adjacent region 6 review.

And just as I was about to sign off on this as the last update before my trip to Norfolk Island, information appeared on the Hillsbus website that more Growth Bus changes are being implemented on 16/11/2009 for routes 610, 613X, 614X, 615X, 616X & 618.

No details of changes could be found but there are new timetables for each of the routes on the Hillsbus website.

This would effect the following two timetables.

610, 610X, 619

613, 614, 614X, 615, 615X, 616, 616X, 617X, 618

It would be assumed that new printed timetables will be available but this needs to be confirmed.

Unfortunately it appears as though the 131500 page which listed the new timetables in September and October is no longer being updated.

Sydney Ferries River Express service to start on Monday, 23rd November 2009

The Minister of Transport, David Campbell and the Minister Assisting, David Borger today announced the start date of the new Parramatta River Express service.

The River Express service will start on Monday, 23rd November 2009.

Mr Borger said the River Express would provide commuters in the Parramatta region with a ferry service during the morning and evening peaks.

“The service will depart Parramatta Wharf from 7.00am Monday to Friday and is timetabled to arrive at Circular Quay within 55 minutes,” Mr Borger said.

“The last River Express service will depart Circular Quay for Parramatta at 7.00pm.

“The NSW Government has invested $4 million a year, over the next two years, to deliver this new service for commuters in Parramatta.

“The express service will make just one stop at Rydalmere en-route to Circular Quay.

LS The Sydney Ferries website shows a timetable for this service which appears to be a publicity timetable only as it also includes other similar trips during the day and it also mentions that a new Parramatta River timetable will be issued on that date which will include the extra services.

New South Wales Timetables – 2 corrections to yesterday’s item about Kennedy, Nowra. Firstly the reference should have been to Table Talk and not The Times.

And secondly there are now two route 728 timetables in the booklet – One to Worrigee Road and another one to Greenwell Point.

Sydney Buses, Ferries and Trains. Randwick Junction is going Prepay on 16th November 2009 _ The usual brochure has been issued.

Newcastle Timetables – Port Stephens Coaches

Fingal Bay - Soldiers Point
- Anna Bay - Newcastle

30, 31, 31B, 31D, 130, 136

Sept 2009

Port Stephens Coaches

Newcastle - Newcastle Airport

130

19 Oct 2009

Port Stephens Coaches

Port Stephens Coaches updated their route timetable in September 2009 which would include the growth trips in August for which a temporary timetable was issued.

In addition they have issued a further timetable for services between Newcastle Railway Station and Newcastle Airport which operate on weekdays only, dated 19/10/2009. All trips in that timetable are shown as route 130 which is also contained in the general timetable mentioned in the previous paragraph where the route operates from Fingal Bay to Newcastle. This additional timetable shows some additional route 130 trips which it would be assumed operate between Newcastle Station and Newcastle Airport only, There are some of these during the day as well as some which operate before the full length services operate and also after the full length services.

I assume this is what is referred to on their website at http://pscoaches.com.au/nas.php
Newcastle Airport Shuttle

"Our Newcastle Airport Shuttle service will be

suspended after the 31st December.

This service is under review.

A new and exciting service will commence in 2009"
I assume December 2008.

And Len Regan advises:-

The current timetable for Hunter Valley Buses (formerly Sugar Valley) is dated  June 2008.

Sydney Buses, Ferries and Trains.

A further brochure reissued in conjunction with the new trains timetables on 11/10/2209 is thee Blue Mountains Explore one dated Set 2009 which contains new sample timetable information.

Maroubra Junction - Leichhardt Metrobus

10

Undated

Route extended to
Maroubra 26/10/2009
but no new brochure
sighted so far.

It was thought that a new brochure had been issued but the only one sighted so far was an update to the original one when the route was curtailed from Leichhardt Market Place to Leichhardt Town Hall some time ago.

And for Metrobus route 20, initially there was a timetable for this route on 131500 but I has now disappeared.
