cronies. I was one of those lucky enough to have been 15
and at peak receptiveness when Wuthering Heights was
released and those piano bars came tinkling over the
airways on BBC Radio 1 for the first time in
Feb.1978.<br><br>I remember well getting my mono tape recorder (coz
it had a built-in microphone! Wow! that was real
technology then) and cramming it against the TV speaker when
"Kate played on Pebble Mill at One" - she did "Moving"
and Them heavy People" and it was a dream come
true!<br>A big thing in my life then too was that my sister
(Karate Kate) was bringing her latest boyfriend around a
lot (still her husband of 20 years now) and we had
taken to calling each other Cathy and Heathcliffe - my
brother-in-law was convinced that that was my real name for
ages!<br>anyway - more reminiscences another time - lets talk
