Hi folks,

Now listended to the album 4 times. Favourites so far are Pi, How To
Be Invisible, A Coral Room, Prologue, Sunset, Nocturn & Aerial.
Overall; much
prefer A Sky of Honey. I LOVE the idea of the birdsong suggestion
(along with the soundwave cover: So thats what a blackbirds soundwave
looks like!)

Musically I find the album very strong though lyrically not so
strong, not knocking it, obviously influenced by motherhood, after
all NOTHING can surely ever match the Hounds Of Love album in my
book, along with strong tracks like Never Be Mine, Moments Of
Pleasure & Why Should I Love you?

I love this album, have never been disappointed with Kate, that's why
I'm a fan, some great musical ideas (Her singing in Bertie is just SO
delightful) But, hey, it's all just my opinion.

Summing up it was well worth the wait (I'd rather wait 12 years for
an Album like this than have weaker albums churned out yearly as do
some artists) Beside the last 12 years I have been continually
enjoying what Kate has already done. It doens't matter if she never
produces an album again because what she has done has been
exceptional. Though I always hope...

Hi everyone - WOW !!!!!!!

This is me finally emerging from Aeriel.... at last

I have been so immersed in the whole album fro months and months I
have been doing nothing else! (well I have actually but apart from
when the radio is on I have played nothing but the album. Its the
only thing been in my car CD player since November.

I have to say though - I ripped and burned the CDs to one disc - and
failed to copy over Bertie or Mrs Bartallozziololololi.

The part of the disc with Sunset, Somewhere in Between, Nocturn and
Aeriel is nearly worn away. I also love Pi and How to Be Invisible
(just so fantastically good in so many ways), and A Coral Room - is
haunting as well as beautiful. Nice to Have just Kate and a piano
again. Bit like the demo tapes - but produced!!!

I may say a LOT more later - but now I need to go back to my family -
and Kate!!!!!!!

Bye

I'm glad it's not just me who can't leave it alone. I tried to reduce
the playing of the album in case I tired of it (Unlikely: Been a fan
since at 15 Wuthering Heights was released & haven't tired of any of
Kate's albums yet, though shamefully still haven't upgraded Lionheart
to CD!) but the "Honey's" are always coming out for a replay! (I
think I'll refer to it as the Honey album now [I love Bee's anyhow]
when referring to both CD's)

Now in strong 2nd place in my list of her favourites (Hounds of love
untouchable in 1st.. another "Double" but shorter...on one
record/CD!) the second album though still dominates the work. I love
Pi, Bertie & Mrs Bartolozzi with the Coral Room my favourite on the
1st album (Though King of the mountain and Joanni [A piece I'm
finiding it very difficult to get into for some frustrating reason]
not so high on the list).

But the whole second album just flows, I look at it as one piece and
prefer to hear it uninterrupted [Shut up..Kate's on!].

I'm just longing to hear it in the summer, an experience we've not
had yet. To me A sky of Honey is so much a summer album.
