The Baltic Triangle Public Realm scheme Main Contractor will commence works on
the 4th March 2010 with an anticipated completion date in Autumn 2010. For

The new CCTV camera proposed for coverage of St James Street will be installed
by the end of March 2010. This CCTV camera will significantly improve the
overall surveillance of the Baltic Triangle area. The new street lighting works
to improve security in the area will start week commencing 1st March. New street
lighting will begin on Greenland Street and commence northwards.

A controlled parking scheme is also proposed which will be designed to alleviate
congestion and remove commuter parking with the introduction of a business
permit scheme and limited pay and display parking. Public consultation for this
scheme is ongoing.
