Hi Mike,
Nice thought, but unfortunately we cannot take the Creda bits in to the store
because of the potential presence of asbestos; and we rarely hear about these
things early enough to facilitate a swap. It might be best to post your idea on
the barbican talk website, and in the meantime keep an eye on the skips. They do
turn up in beautiful condition every now and then and one of the Estate Office
recommended electricians may be able to fit it.
Don't forget that there may be potentially harmful asbestos present in the old
cookers.
