Any of you fine fellas (and Gals) located on the Clyde?

I've just moved from Loch Lomond down to Largs Haven and was looking
for some local knowledge before I take to the foam.

I know it seems strange that I dont know where to go on this extensive
stretch of coastline, but I'm having to paddle before I swim. (never
had boat in sea before!!)
