thank you sara, as you say some of us are off to samye ling so i wont be coming as its an early start for me on friday

the prayer flags are flying in david and my back garden and the blessings abound, lama shenga la put them up with his usual cheery singing the mantras. so i owe you £10

 

i am hoping to record lama shenga chanting the whole of the medicine buddha, he sat on the settee here, yesterday singing his way through it as i pottered about clearing up the lunch things as Rinpoche had interviews and i filed ian away to bed!!!

 

the exciting news too is that Rinpoche has invited roberta and myself to go to katmandu and get tuition from his brother, salgo who is a tangkha painter, for robertas art work and for lama shenga to show us around, Rinpoche will organize this with his brother

 

frank took Rinpoche and lama shenga la shopping and bought them a pair of brasher boots, 2 pairs of socks and a tin of polish each as our offering from the southampton lot
