How to develop Joy and Confidence in our daily lives

Geshe Pema Dorjee is a practical and inspirational teacher - a true example of compassion in action. His many years of directing educational projects in both India and Nepal have given him a broad vision which he uses for the benefit of all he meets. Presently director of the Bodong project which aims to revive a rare strand of Tibetan Buddhism, he also finds the energy to set up schools and community projects in poor and remote areas. Tonight Geshe-la will speak about joy and confidence. He will also give us the latest news on the revival of the Bodong Buddhist tradition. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers on the talk and his projects.

Suggested donation £5 per evening. All proceeds go to one or more of Geshe-la’s projects. No booking required, however please ensure you arrive in good time.

Tonight Geshe-la will speak about gratitude and loving kindness. He will also give us the latest news on the revival of the Bodong Buddhist tradition. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers on the talk and his projects.

Pema will give a general talk about Buddhist teachings and his on going projects. No booking required.

Monday 29^th September at 4pm at:

The University of Brighton, Falmer Site. Pema will talk about setting up the Daman School Project. The vision is to open a school for young children in a poor, rural area of Nepal where 3-8 year olds have no access to education. This talk will be held at Mayfield Lecture Theatre, Mayfield House, Room M129, University of Brighton, Falmer Site.
