Re: [bisaya_readers] A Movement Of Increasing Complexity

Hello Kristian,

I shared your binisaya article to Lunsayng Binisaya
(http://groups.yahoogroup.com/group/bisaya)
minus the inenglis part. LB egroup only uses binisaya. Some of the
members come from Mindanao, some Cebu, some other are living abroad now.
In my view, Bisaya is a linguistic identity. It's is not solely tied to
the place Sugbo or Cebu. It is associated with Visayas as the general
area, alright.
Where ever the Bisayan lives(lived) he still is a Bisaya even if he may
now call himself a Mindanawon or whatever.
Some may also call himself Sugboanon, but may be some born in Mindanao
would not call themselves Sugboanon.
It's up to him. I suppose, an identity is a personal act
identification, a choice of what he wants to love. He becomes what he loves.

Mindanawon or Mindanaoan is an emerging of identity associated with the
land of Mindanao or those who care about Mindanao.
