Re: [BMW e24 Club] Coolant indicator

If the Gauge is going high - definitely get it checked by BMW garage ASAP! - may
be simple connector - but not worth driving until sorted!

Cheers

George

Subject: [BMW e24 Club] Coolant indicator

Help anyone. I have a 1988 635CSI. I have a coolant issue that is driving me
crazy. I have had the sensors checked. I have replaced the fan clutch. The
water pump and thermostat was replaced. the low speed and high speed fans are
working fine. I jumpered the high and low connecctors to verify they are in
working condition. My A/C in no longer blowing any cold air. When I place the
key in the ingnition the coolant lamp lights immediately. The engine
temperature runs fine as long as I am on the highway. Once i get off the
highway and have to stop at traffic lights the guage has gone as high as 3/4 and
this is whitout running A/C. Any suggestions
