Just remove the button you press - clean the contacts and try again - I had same
with windows - BMW wanted to sell new motor - cleaned the contacts and all is as
if new!

I have a 635 Highline with electric sunroof that has stopped working
suddenly. When you press the button it just moves the sunroof a
little and then stops as if the force required is too much for the
motor.

Is it an easy job to take the sunroof out and check it?
