i have been looking for a couple of years and saving up for a 6
series that was white and a manual. i bought a 628 , from an old guy
that drove it monthly. it was badged 635csi as it had an 3.5 engine
in it with a after market comp ( haltec e6a ). i have now after about
4 years of ownership spent more on the car than the original
purchase!!!!! anyway finally getting there after 8 months off the
road restoring the car ( new interior , head gasket , engine
tune ,etc...) the engine blew another head gasket. :( the 3.5 engine
is giving me the shits. i would like to make it original again. also,
the car is an uk special import. the question is if i buy an 528 (
year??? ) can i use the running gear ( such as engine , gearbox,
exhaust headers , stearing box and air cond. ) ? please help
