Some time ago, the owner of a certain blue E24 635CSi (not me) made
an appeal for as many E24 6-Series coupes as possible to make
themselves available for a planned magazine photoshoot.

Due to lack of time, he had to hand over the organiser's hat, but
Steve Richardson, an Alpina B9 E24 owner, has now taken up the
cudgels. He has encouraged everyone attending Silverstone, for the
cost of (hopefully) not much more than a tenner admission.

Currently, page 8 of the thread is where things have got to.

The Silverstone date is 2nd September 2007, and the Editors of
(so far) four magazines have been invited to report on it. Twenty-
five spaces for E24s have been booked; 17 spaces are already spoken
for. There might be room for more.

If you have a roadworthy E24 6-Series of any age, or any variation
(interior or exterior), you and your car's presence would be welcome.
All you need to do is commit yourself and ensure you have the day
off. Likewise, Steve would also be biting your hand off if you can
help him to organise the admin, etc.....
