Battery drain problem. Noticed driver's side door lock was very hot.
Removed fuse 5 until I can fiqure out how to disconnect heating
element? Is it safe to drive with fuse 5 removed?

Also, left turn signal indicator (bulb) (same side as the driver's door
lock) in instrument panel is out. Did this start the problems or was it
the door lock cylinder heater all along? Battery is a year old.
