Re: [boroughbabies] Re: Child & Parent friendly lunch venues

Tas were great when we went there with our toddler - especially after Hiba had
just been so rude to us! Waiters falling over themselves to come and chat to
Cameron. Strada are also very accommodating (both at More London and South
Bank) and there's usually enough noise to drown out potential toddler wailing.
The owner of Bermondsey Kitchen is (very excited to be) pregnant right now, so
might be a good idea to see if you could get her involved (and make restaurant
modifications for you!)
Good luck!

Hi,

We had a big lunch for people upstairs at the Roebuck and it was great - food is
good and they didn't bat an eyelid when my friend's toddler tried to pull over
the Christmas tree. The upstairs room seats load of people and you can decorate
as you wish.

Hope you find somewhere good.

Cheers

Frances

Hi,yes, if anyone wants to post suggestions I will make a database for
it..Ideas:the Bermondsey kitchen (Bermondsey street) do Xmas set menus, havehigh
chairs, and were quite good with Teddy when we went.Joe's kitchen (Marshalsea
Rd) might do it and they have toys and highchairs.. I know the Royal Oak (Tabard
St) have a function room for bookings, and the room itself is free if you are
making a private (not abusiness) booking, jsut voted best pub in London, and
great foodJessica- -- In boroughbabies@ yahoogroups. co.uk, "paola_perissinotto
