So I had my twin boys on thursday 3rd July at 1.13 and 1.33 am AT
HOME!! - 37weeks +6days

Just thought I'd post the news

Briefly:
I had an appointment for acupuncture at 4.30, by 7pm I was definitely
in labour so called midwife, when she got here she said I was nearly
ready to push, and I had to either stay home or go into hospital
immediately (we had kept the poss of home birth there and she had
support on standby, but I thought I would want to go in) I managed to
murmur 'stay' as I just could not imagine moving at that point if at
all poss..

Anyhow, to compress a long story, after a lot of pushing I had baby
one at 12.13am on 03/07/08 and then baby two at 1.33 am, as he was
breech, and needed a little maneuvering to get him out.

After all finished I had a fantastic bath at 4am, and babies floated
in there with me too.

Truly amazing experience, and I feel very very lucky indeedy. babies
are amazing, look like they are identical, and have no name yet... so
watch this space...
