Hi martin,

I am searching all this for my dad who was born in Bournemouth in the 1930's and
he remembers seeing the buses and coaches coming in - especially the Royal
Blues.
He used to live at Bishop Road and his father had a hairdressers in Crimea Road
Winton.

The facility at Rutland Road was an overnight service area wasn't it? He
remembers that it was all surrounded by very high hedges - well it was in his
time.

I don't suppose you have any photos at all?

I have managed to get a few photos of Royal Blues and some of the main bus
station and posted them to the group today.

Anything else you can add would be gratefully received.
