Although the original St Peters school is no longer around it's name lives
on in the combined Baden-Powell and St Peters school in Mill Lane in Lower
Parkstone. Still a good school - two of my three have been there and the
third is still there!!!!

I do remember Albert Road. On the bus theme still, I seem to remember
there was a privately-run bus service which started in Albert Road
(quite old, red single-decker I think), owned by a lady called Mrs
Dingwall who also owned race horses. Don't think I made that
up....amazing where these memories come from! I went to school at St
Peter's in Lower Parkstone. Brilliant school, great days. Sadly,
that's also no longer in existence!

The lady who ran the Rossmore Bus Company (which operated the Albert Road route) was Louie Dingwell Foott. The service ran for 50 years, much to the annoyance...
