Hi all!
What a great thought provoking question. I spent many days as a
kid there but I guess if we wee to pick any one day it would be Mid summer
say August 1958/59 . That was the time when the station was really busy. You
could see coaches from all over UK and sometimes a Red LT RT. Everything
that could move for the Holiday period. A quick check of my records shows
the variety we could enjoy. What great times, then a visit around
Bournemouth to check out all the other overflow parks, where buses and
coaches were parked.
