Bowtech Products ever popular xenon rechargeable and self contained submersible strobes are now complimented by an intermediate 4,000m depth rated version, further expanding the range of depth options for the customer.

A best seller for over ten years, these high intensity xenon beacons are designed for use as a visual aid to locate submersible vehicles such as ROVs, AUVs, DSRVs or instrumentation packages, when they surface for recovery.

They can also be used to mark underwater objects, divers and work sites.

Using high intensity xenon gas discharge lamps these beacons can be seen from up to 4 miles away on the surface depending upon atmospheric transmissivity, wave conditions, the observer's height and the frequency setting of the strobe.

When used for submersible location the underwater viewing distances will vary subject to the water clarity.
