The BPSA is an internet based support and campaign group with UK focus, run on a non profit basis by volunteers. It was created after the initial example of the Prostatitis Foundation (USA group). However, the BPSA operates independently. The YahooGroup is taken as the BPSA membership list.
The BPSA Steering group formulates strategy and where possible, persues projects for BPSA on behalf of the BPSA Committee. The Steering Group of the BPSA welcomes ideas from members as to how we can raise our profile and become a more effective campaigning organisation. In the interests of consistency and to avoid duplication members are asked to submit a short proposal for any projects and give details of external bodies that might be contacted. You are asked that no action be taken to formally represent the BPSA until you have received formal approval.
