I'm sorry my remark was a bit flippant, but I just couldn't help
thinking there was some exaggeration in the description. I absolutely
do agree that cyclists should NOT be racing along shared
pedestrian/cycle paths (assuming sharing is allowed) but that where
paths are shared the more vulnerable users should be treated with
great consideration. Similarly cyclists and pedestrians should be
treated with consideration on roads.
