Dear all

Well after a fabulous turnout to yesterdays ride, which though blustery,
felt like a summers day in the fanatastic bright sunshine, I thought I'd
remoind eveyone to put the follwing dates in their diaries. Oh and thanks to
Ottavio and Steve for the tea afterwards - a great way to end a good day in
the saddle!

I still have a few tickets to sell you for the BLAGSS post-xmas Glitterati
Party!! This will be held on Saturday 15th January at Alfresco on the Kings
Road Arches. A fun packed night is in store, with Karaoke, Disco,
Entertainment, Food, and Raffle of all your unwanted naff Christmas
Pressies. Tickets are only £12 each, so contact me and I will send them out
to you on receipt a cheque payable to BLAGSS. Don't plan on getting too
drunk, mind otherwise yoiu will HAVE to come to the.....

Glitterati Party Purge!
Sunday 16th January Brighton - Devils Dyke, via the South Downs way,to
Shoreham Airport for tea and back via the seafront. Leaving Brighton Station
at 1pm. This is not suitable for road bikes as the South Downs Way can be
unforgiving for those with narrow tyres! Mostly traffic free, few climbs and
some terrific downhills. The pace won't be too fast, but it's sure to be
muddy so dress appropriately!!!

Sunday 6th February - Off Roading with Richy - bound to be muddy and hilly!
Further details will follow nearer the time.

Back to the Weald.
Saturday 26th February. Starting Haywards Heath Station (engineering works
permitting!!) 10:30ish -Long ride - on road - probably about 40+ miles. Some
climbs, some great descents, always a good cake shop!!

Something less daunting.
Sunday 13th March - On-road MEDIUM length - About 30 miles - probably
starting Lewes area (again railway works permitting).

2nd April - 10th April - BLAGSS / Cycleout "TRAINING CAMP" holiday in
Mallorca. PLEASE BOOK SOON - phone me for details.

Saturday 16th April - Long road ride Starting Three Bridges Station and
going west into Surrey Hills - 40+miles. Hills - yes, views - fantastic!!

Off the road to Eastbourne.
Sunday 15th May - On the South Downs Way from Brighton to Eastbourne - led
by Richard W.

I am always looking for peoiple to arrange rides in the Brighton area,
whatever distance and terrain you prefer, please let me know so that I can
let everyone know. I'm off to Lodon on the 23rd January to plan the rides
with our sister club in London, - Cycleout, so I will have commited us to at
least 1 Saturday or Sunday ride per month!

Anyhow, hopefully see you all at the party on the 15th - If anyone knows
where I can lay my hands on some sequinned cycling shorts - let me know!
