I have had an e-mail from someone looking for a knitting group focussing on charity knits, does anyone know of any that meet in Brighton (or nearby)?

There was one where I used to live which focused on producing things for charity; blankets, clothes and toys for disaster areas, and prem baby clothes for hospitals in Africa. It was quite well organised, with the group receiving donations of wool, and also it was a great way for elderly or lonely ladies to meet others and feel they were making a valuable contribution to society. (I'm neither, being a mere bloke doesn't work due to M.E., but I do love to knit!)
Do you know of any other groups similar to above?
