Bristol Feminist Network (BFN) is a local group of women and men from who are interested in discussing feminist ideas campaigning on issues of gender inequality and oppression. We believe that challenging gender stereotypes, resisting sexist oppression and fighting for women’s rights can positively change the world for everyone.
In the last year BFN organised Bristol Reclaim the Night, the Representations of Women in the Media Project and raised funds for services which support women trapped in prostitution. We are currently involved in planning for International Women's Day, Violence Against Women Week, the UNISON Women's Conference and planning for Reclaim the Night 2010.
BFN meets at Cafe Kino, Nine Tree Hill, Stokes Croft, Bristol. Meeting are free, informal and open to all. Please feel welcome to join us!
