Dear Bristol Feminist Network,

Hello! I'm a research assistant working at the University of Derby on
a project about the rise of feminism since the year 2000. I'm working
with Kristin Aune (a lecturer in Sociology at Derby) and Catherine
Redfern (founder of www.thefword.org.uk), who are writing a book on
the subject, to be published in 2010.

As part of this we are doing questionnaire research among the new
feminist groups who have emerged in the last decade (for example,
local groups, national conferences, and issue-specific groups). So far
questionnaires have been distributed at the FEM08 conference, Ladyfest
Manchester and Ladyfest London and we have had 200+ responses.

We want to ensure that we capture the range of feminist activities,
and we wondered whether it might be possible to send you a copy of the
questionnaire as an attachment to pass on to the members of your group
to be filled in and returned by post or email? If it would be more
convenient, we could also post you some paper copies with SAEs for
return.
