Wikipedia has a site relating to W.Britains which has a lot of the history correct relating to the ownership of the Company, but little about the products except lead soldiers. There is nothing I can find on Floral Garden specifically.
I can insert a link there to a new page on Floral Garden.
The only benefit of having a reserved website would be that it cannot be adjusted or edited by anyone else e.g.. unwittingly introducing errors.
A link to this reserved site can be placed on Wikipedia entry.
I think the answer is probably to have both. Having created one, the other should be easy.
Can I have permission to Lift Mandy's Ebay contribution for starters and post it on Wikipedia?
If so, I know I saw it somewhere but can't find it now. Where is it please?
Thanks
Peter

Ah ... funny you should say that Peter, I had thought of putting a garden site up. The trouble is I'm not very good at web sites.
I bought a copy of "Web Easy"all the space and I haven't managed to create anything with "Web Easy" yet.
It's not as easy I I'd hoped.
Yes that's Mandy with the description on ebay.
I don't know much about Wikipedia or how it works but it sounds like a very good idea to me.

<<Just a thought... a bit obvious really but it's only just hit me.....The idea of a database to make a record of this heritage toy was one of the original reasons for this group. I thought of creating a website with the data on it. OK, can do that , but what about doing it on Wikipedia? Someone (Mandy?) has put some descriptive info on Ebay which is great, but the best place to spend the time building up a comprehensive full record of it all would be on Wikipedia.... wouldn't it? Thought please, if you have a comment?Peter>>
