welcome to the group, in answer to you questions most of us add to our
collections via ebay, although if you've got the energy and the time, BFG items
are rarely available in 2nd hand stores (in UK).
To answer the glue issue, there is a glue from Loctite for these kind of soft
plastics called in UK "plastix" I believe. Here in US the Loctite plastic glue
come with a 'pen' which contains surface primer/activator and a regular
super-glue-like bottle with the adhesive. Although many super glues say they are
for plastic they don't work very well with the type of materials that Britains
uses. So just check the label to make sure its specifically for plastic. Others
may have other solutions.
