"Lyndsey's FG" in Paris Exhibition   Message List

We took Lyndsey's Floral garden to a major model railway show in Paris over Friday/Saturday/Sunday 12-14th Jan.

Pictures are now uploaded into the photo folder.

See what she created for this show. :

1) A heart shaped  ' Valentines ' bed in red. (I didn't know you could make that shape until she did it!).

2) "Dirt Path". A new feature made from mounting card and model scenic scatter. Same modular size as rectangle beds and crazy paving, but simulating bare mud and also made a set of panels to go round a lawn and feature a set of benched at the base of a tree. We used some of the mud in the vegetable patch too.

Foldername "Lyndsey's FG in PARIS"
Link (if it works ?)...

The show was hosted by the "rail Club de Meaux". Meaux is about 15 miles east of Paris, and of course they had never seen anything like it before ... MOSTLY. except one member if another visiting group from Goussainville gave us some old bits of lawn , a couple of walls and a bench seat and some fence panels presumably recovered from a previous layout!! Glue still on the feet etc.
We guess he'd used it in an O gauge layout, never realising what it was (a British garden set) and finally re-united it with someone who knew about it.
Good fun. See the pictures.

The next outing for "Lyndsey's Floral garden" is in May  at Ashford, Kent.

Peter

Hi Peter Lyndsey's garden looks wonderful - it must have taken her hours. And the scarecrow looks very at home. I've finally got all four birds for the...
