Re: [britains_floral_garden] Gladiloli

They used to vary the beds at random as far as I know. With the original pink and white cardboard boxed stuff, you could equally well get a quarter corner or a rectangle bed, or occasionally a figure of 8. It was never the thin vegetable beds with flowers.

I don't know about the later bagged and tagged stuff (cellophane bag with folded card top stapled to it).

Subject: [britains_floral_garden] Gladiloli

Hi

Peter, amny thanks for the info on the peas; I would never have
arrived at that conclusion myself!

Another question if I may: I have two packets of Gladioli, nut neither
has any flower bed. Does anyone know which flower bed it originally
came with? There's a rectangular one, a corner one or a long one with
curved edges. Any ideas please?

Many thanks in advance.

Nigel

PS: I never found the extra poles for the beans, but they sold anyway
