Hello there.
I am sorry if I have caused offence or have done anything wrong. I did not mean
to in anyway abuse your site. All I meant to do was help out a fellow member. I
did not realise at the time that the E-Mails between us were being directed
through your site. I truly believed they were private and was taken aback when I
realised that they were not.
If I can do anything to correct my mistake, please advise me and I will do it.
I was simply answering this message:-
"Finally, for this time at least... Could somebody recommend a dealer
to me who will sell specific spares, please? For instance, I need one
pillar capstone, plus some iron fence hangers to complete my
incomplete set. I don't want to have to buy a random load of things
just to get the bits I need. Any advice welcomed, please."
I was not advertising, I was simply answering a fellow members cry for two
items. I had them, he wanted them, so I sold them. I have not 'advertised' any
other item and nor would I on this site. However, I wonder why I am being
critisised for helping out a fellow member. If I have caused him offence then I
will gladly do what is necessary to put things right.
I just wonder what this paragraph means then on the Home Page:-
"This Yahoo group is not really intended to be a location for buying and
selling items, but within reason that would probably not upset anyone. Any items
in existance are unreplaceable and of finite supply. When it's gone, it's gone.
So why not use this site to ensure any surplus items move onward to a good
home?"
Yours Sincerely,
Tracey.
