Mike and the group
So how about this: I'll create a database in excel file format and
upload it to "files" on this group. This will contain the fields and
records I suggested in my previous email and include data from my own
database and incorporate the data on this group. Over the next month
or so I'll update this file as other group members send me more
infomation as an excel file, or, if its incremental, email text. I'll
keep the file up to date on this group through the process. This
seems like a easier way to collate all this data rather than the
default database embedded in Yahoo groups. If someone out there has a
better idea I'm open to it. If this sounds OK, and I don't hear to
the contrary, I'll post the first draft this weekend. Then you all
can open fire with constructive yet polite criticism.
Then we form a non-profit and buy the rights from Britains to
manufacture and market the Floral Garden Range to the world once more
(just kidding).

think the idea of a central database is brilliant. I can supply a lot
of box styles and catalogue numbers, some production dates and
deletion dates. There were three series issued between 1960 and 1969
when the series was withdrawn. The tree series I don't have any info
on, but this would be good to include as they were designed to suit
the Floral Garden range.
