Dear Jojanneke,
As soon as I have confirmed my train times I'll let you know - I must do it this
week. My journey from Sheffield to Inverness on Thursday 12 July requires a
change of trains in Edinburgh,, so I should be able to meet you on the station
platform if your journey coincides. On Monday 16 July, there is a train from
Inverness to Edinburgh at 07.55 which would be best, I think. I see from the
map that Nairn is on a railway, so I'll check if we can get a train from Nairn
to Inverness, to link with the 07.55.
I have no experience of identifying mites in galls, but I'm sure Brian Gale
email:acarist@... or brian@...) would be interested, and he
might have information that would help.
