I have recieved a report that Neuroterus quercusbaccarum is not very
common this year. There were not many Current Galls in the spring and
now the Spangle Galls it appears are low in numbers. I found similar
situations when visiting Dorset in Septemeber.
Is this the same for the whole country?
Note there appear to be plenty of Knopper Galls both in here in
Yorkshire and in Dorset.
