Re the second part of your message re gall records for Surrey, I am the
records data manager for the BPGS and I have just checked the database for
you. Unfortunately, the scheme has only recently got going and we only have
two records for VC17, neither of which are for oak galls. I know we have
members living in the area and a couple of these are listed as people who
record galls. If you would like to give me your address (feel free to e mail
me direct with this if you prefer), I will contact the members in question
and pass your request on to them. I wonder if you might consider passing
your gall records on to me eventually when you have finished your book?
