Last year Tom passed me a record for Urophora cardui from Yorkshire the
first for the county. I made enquiries about this to Laurence Clemons
who holds the national record. In his reply he notes that he would be
intersted in record from cecidologist for the galls of Tephrid Flies.
I would be interested to receive and records, and collate them for the
plant gall society, and Laurence.

I am thinking of going with MapMate but do not know what this is like,
and would appreciate any comment about this software.
