We found the Maltese people friendly enough, although it was not easy making
friends in the first couple of months, although everone kept on saying "it
will take 6 months to find your feet", and I must admit it did! All that
said, the island is lovely in all seasons, and there's always somewhere nice
to sit, eat and drink, and just watch the world go by!

My wife found it alot easier to meet people due to school drop-offs and
coffee mornings.

There are a number of bars on the island that have a greater concentration
of 'Brit', one being the RYANS IRISH PUB.

Enjoy your stay in Malta, it is a lovely country, albeit a little small!
