Ha-
my advise is to imagine you have stepped into a Kafka book in regards to the
immigration office. Would you expect things to run quick, smoothly and with
logic in mind in a Kafka story? No....I don't know about the new EU rules but
the Immigration office tells you a different story and rule that may contradict
one they told you a day earlier....I doubt there is anything you can do but wait
and call etc.

Hallo everyone,
I need some advice or maybe to find right contact. Friend of mine have applied
for Permanent Residency Permit on 13th July 2004. For about 3 months he hasn't
got any reply regarding to his application. And when he called the Immigration
Office, only reply was that the got the application. That's all. Then they told
him the application number for this year plus that the rules for EU citizens
have changed and that they will start the applications from January 2005. Is it
normal procedure? Can we do anything about it? Any idea is welcomed.
Regards,
Lukas
