Re: [British Expats in Malta] Planning to Move to Malta with Son - A   Message List

Hi there, would like to help with info on Malta. I moved there from
Scotland about three years ago with my children for the same reasons you have.
The
nurseries there are good, some though start academic work very early - the
Maltese put a great emphasis on education and their schools are definitely tops
in Europe. Because the island is only 9 by 4 miles in size - there is
nowhere really on the island where you would feel isolated. We used to live
in
Attard, (not on the coast) but one of the nicer areas of the island and close
to the lovely San Anton Gardens - a great place for the little ones to
explore and have freedom to run about and play. As with anywhere in the Med
-
it's much easier to meet and mix with the Maltese because you have a child-
you'll meet mum's just like yourself at the nursery. Hope this little bit of
info helps.
