Re: [British Expats in Malta] Malta - Tunis

Hi Deborah,

thanks for the advice. I actually live in Rome and have an appartment in
Malta. There are no problems with a flight from here only that I cannot
do Rome-Tunis-Malta-Rome with the same airline and so each leg is treated
as a single journey and each single is the same price as a return trip.
So I would basically be paying three return trips. Thats why I was
thinking of getting a return to Mata or Tunis and then getting a boat for
half the holiday, unfortunately seems no regular boats exist.

thanks anyway

Dominic McGrath

Tunis is an awsome place to visit...When you have the time, be sure
to get to Hammamet, Djerba and Souse.

Milan and Rome have standard flights. I'm not sure how the locals
would make the trip.

I have flown to Tunis from Paris, Istanbul and Milan.

seems very difficult to get to.

Do's anyone know a regular way to get there by sea? or even private-
hire boat trip. I have checked all the internet options but dosn't
seem anything suitable or to fit my dates.

I need local inside information on how a Maltese person would get
there or dosn't anyone ever consider going there?.
