Doubtful if the channels you receive via an aerial will have any sound due
to the different TV type but if you plug in a local cable box or sat dish
etc via scart, the TV will be fine, the same goes for DVD players etc. We
did the same, brought out a Sony TV from UK knowing that we would not be
able to receive a signal via an aerial.

We will be taking out a Sony Bravia television when we emigrate. Does anyone know if this would still work ok in Malta?...
