1)Is Malta breaking European Union laws by charging tax on registration
of vehicles already taxed in another EU country ?
2)If any laws are being flaunted/broken, are ex pats going to be able
to sue the government for their money back?
3)How long are you allowed to drive your UK registered vehicle in Malta
before requirement to pay registration tax, if you are Maltese
returning to the island after a number of years?

The above mentioned tax is very unfair and I urge all ex pats to
support the current petition being submitted by other members of this
group and voice their opinion in the local press.

Regards and looking forward to getting used to Maltese ways again in
