Cardiff & Vale vegetarians group was set up in July 2006. We have over 25 members (not all active members) and we meet on a monthly basis. Our meetings are mainly social but we also share information about vegetarian health issues, animal rights, campaigns, vegetarian events, etc. Past meetings have included a vegetarian picnic at Cosmeston lakes and lunch at The Washington Gallery to celebrate World vegetarian day. Future events include a halloween celebration (a creepy Cardiff ghost tour followed by ghoulish foods) and a pub quiz.
We welcome all vegetarians and vegans and people who wish to know more about vegetarianism.
