Hi - this is very good news for veggies visiting Spain in Andalucia
coast/Costa del Sol - TWO excellent cafe/restaurants :-

New restaurant
ESTEPONA - ELEMI Cafe Bar Natural

The owner Ray and his team were recently features on a 'Living in the
Sun' TV programme, setting up their new veggie restaurant in the land
of carnivores!

The cafe is lovely, modern, light, with nice food and good range of
juices as well as teas, coffee etc. Main meals include delicious
tofu salads, quorn, couscous, roasted vege, wide range of salads,
also cheeses, tapas,
potato wedges.
Support them, this is great news for veggies living or visiting
Spain! They are open from breakfast through lunch and early evening
(to around 8.30 pm) and Saturday daytime. Estepona is about 40
minutes from Malaga travelling west (towards Gib)

FUENGIROLA - VEGETALIA vegetarian restaurant

Vegetalia is a well-established and popular exclusively veggie
restaurant in the Los Boliches area of Fuengirola. They serve a daily
buffet (Tues-Sat) of salads and hot dishes, with bread, and delicious
deserts. Tea, juices,
>coffees, wines also available. If it's full, wait for a table,
definitely worth the wait. Set price buffet, very reasonable.
Happily, they are also open evenings for 'a la carte' menu - all
veggie.

Highly recommended - why not visit on your way to or from Malaga
airport next time? 'Los Boliches' is signposted off the main coastal
roads. To find the restaurant, look for the 'Ferial' overhead
railway, and VEGETALIA has a
green sign on the main Calle Santa Ana, showing you which side road
to take.
