if you care to check previous discussion threads on this forum, I am sure you
will find that this issue has been substantially discussed.
The conclusion we arived at was that it is just what you described it (" a
fuzz") and nothing more, as far as its direct benefits to fishfarming is
concerned. This is because we have not been able to get clear testimony as to
its benefits to significantly increase fish growth beyond that for those keeping
good cultural practices.
This is not however, dismissing its benefits in other areas of promoting human
health, as I have heard people recommending it for good health.
On the whole, I guess if you can spare the resources to try it and let members
know your findings, I am sure we would be more than grateful.
