Microsoft Corp. and Siemens Automation and Drives (A&D) have launched a joint European Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Expertise Center that will be based in Genoa, Italy.
The center, which will open at the beginning of 2006, will support customers and partners in answering questions about MES technologies, and will provide them with detailed information about the latest Siemens SIMATIC IT solutions or the integrated Microsoft and Siemens technologies.
