For those that are interested, the paper on maintenance analysis techniques (requested by some forum members in January) that I presented at the International Conference of Maintenance Societies (ICOMS) Melbourne 2001 (MESA http://www.mesa.org.au/) has been granted permission to be published.
Reliabilityweb.com (Terrence OHanlon) has kindly hosted the publication.
Because of the lack of solid data and the wide ranging arguments that can be raised for and against any maintenance analysis method, this paper took me considerable time to research and write. It is not short, and for this reason, has been broken down by Terrence OHanlon, into three parts.

As far as responses on the plantmaint forum, I am not in favour of any continued debate. I will only respond via the webforum if specifically requested by the webmaster. I am happy to respond to questions off line. I suggest we all keep it that way.
