The SDC002 VibeAlarm from The Modal Shop, Cincinnati, OH, is a DIN rail mountable unit designed to warn against excessive machinery vibration. The VibeAlarm has a single ICP sensor input, typically an accelerometer, and provides a buffered accelerometer output. A 4–20 mA output signal is proportional to the conditioned, filtered sensor signal. The unit provides output against user-configurable alert and alarm levels via LCD and the analog output, as well as momentary or latching contact closure for alarms or shutdown. Set up is through the RS-232 port.
