Tokyo (JCNN) - NEC (TSE* 6701), NEC Soft (TSE: 4774), and Techtom have co-developed a compact onboard device embedded with GPS and communications modules for remote vehicle condition monitoring via ASP service.
By connecting to an ASP center using the built-in GPS and communications modules, the user can monitor the vehicles conditions such as fuel economy and CO2 output while driving, or remotely at home or at office.
The product allows the driver to enjoy environmentally-friendly cruising.
