ORLANDO, FL. — May 8, 2005—Intelligent Automation Corporation (IAC) (www.iac-online.com) will be exhibiting the technology enablers such as the Vibration Management Enhancement Program (VMEP) used by the US Army as one of the primary information sources for the Office of the Secretary of Defense new CBM+ initiative at the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) annual convention.
IAC is the prime contractor for VMEP which is one of the US Army’s digitally integrated on-platform embedded health management capabilities used on every Army helicopter model.
VMEP connects the helicopter maintainer to an integrated, enterprise-wide condition based maintenance system using the IAC 1047 intelligent Machinery Diagnostics Server (iMDS). The IAC 1047 iMDS server monitors critical maintenance data elements from data collected from VMEP platform-based processors to generate platform-level health management of components and critical systems, then analyzes the data using advanced algorithms.
The IAC 1047 iMDS server is currently providing the CBM+ initiative with much of the data used to demonstrate the effectiveness a CBM approach. Actual case studies of can be viewed at www.iac-online.com. The VMEP approach enables the Army to provide a more effective capability to rapidly repair helicopter platforms by seamlessly collecting critical platform information that can be used to support holistic lifecycle support.
IAC will be exhibiting at booth #2000 at the AAAA convention from May 8-11, 2005 at the Disney Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center.
